When Was the WARDOGS Closed Beta?
WARDOGS has held two public Closed Beta weekends in 2026. Closed Beta #1 ran August 21–23. The latest event, Closed Beta #2, ran from September 3 at 19:00 UTC until September 6 at 08:00 UTC. The earlier event remains documented in the Closed Beta #1 historical archive.
When Did the WARDOGS Beta End?
Closed Beta #2 ended on September 6, 2026 at 08:00 UTC. That published end time has passed, so the Beta is no longer playable.
When Is the Next WARDOGS Playtest?
Not officially announced. No third Beta or future playtest date is listed in the cited official sources. The next confirmed milestone is the September 10 Steam Early Access launch.
Is the WARDOGS Beta Still Live?
No. Closed Beta #2 has ended. The Steam Playtest request button may remain visible, but it does not mean an active test is running.
How Do You Get Access to the WARDOGS Beta?
For Closed Beta #2, pre-order customers received guaranteed access and additional players were admitted in waves through Steam Playtest. Those rules applied to the ended event and do not guarantee access to a future test.
How Do You Sign Up for a WARDOGS Playtest?
Steam currently provides a Request Access control for WARDOGS Playtest. You can request access there, but no future test window or invitation wave has been announced. Do not treat the request as guaranteed entry.
Do You Need a WARDOGS Beta Key?
No separate Beta key was required for every Closed Beta #2 player. Access came through the Steam account entitlement attached to a pre-order or through an accepted Steam Playtest request. Older external key distribution had already been capped.
Was There an Open Beta?
No. The developer explicitly described Beta #2 as a Closed Beta. Access expanded in controlled Steam Playtest waves so the team could test server scaling instead of opening the event to everyone at once.
When Does WARDOGS Enter Early Access?
WARDOGS is scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026. Read the release date, launch-time, and platform guide, then use the WARDOGS Beginner Guide to prepare for a first match.
