Closed Beta Start and End Time
The original announcement published the August 21–23 dates. This archive does not infer a local start or end hour where the cited announcement did not state one.
Do You Need to Pre-Order WARDOGS for Beta Access?
For Closed Beta #1, pre-ordering guaranteed access, while a limited number of players were admitted randomly through Steam Playtest. Those rules applied to that ended event only.
How Do You Know If You Got WARDOGS Beta Access?
Players admitted through Steam Playtest received the entitlement in Steam. That historical process does not guarantee admission to any future test; use the current playtest status page before acting on older instructions.
What Happens After the Closed Beta?
A second Closed Beta has also ended, and WARDOGS is scheduled for Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026. Read the release date and Beginner Guide for the current path.
