Persistent cash

WARDOGS Economy Guide

Direct Answer

Every WARDOGS player starts with $10,000, and cash persists between matches. Earn money through combat, support, transport, spotting, revives, and objective play, then spend it on a custom loadout or vehicle. Steam describes buying a loadout for each life; exact Early Access death-loss and recovery rules still need live-build verification.

How Does Money Work?

Cash is the resource used to choose what you bring into a life. You can spend it on weapons, gear, utility, and vehicles, or preserve more of the balance for later decisions. The current HUD displays your available cash while you play.

How Do You Earn Cash?

Official material lists reviving squadmates, transporting friendlies, spotting, kills, and controlling the objective as earning actions. The captured Beta UI shows a +$500 reward for healing a teammate; that exact value is Beta data and may change in Early Access.

The +$500 amount comes from a pre-release capture and is not presented as a permanent reward-table value.

How Do You Buy Equipment?

Open the equipment vendor, select the weapon, gear, or utility needed for the next job, and compare the purchase total with the cash you want to keep. See the Weapons Guide for the verified AK74 details.

What Happens to Purchased Gear When You Die?

Steam describes purchasing a custom loadout for each life, so players should budget as if a new life can require another loadout. However, the official sources reviewed here do not document every current loss, recovery, refund, or ammunition rule. Verify those details in the Early Access build before relying on a fixed cost model.

What Is Persistent Cash?

Persistent cash means your balance carries from one match to the next. A large purchase can affect later matches, so spending is part of the longer progression loop rather than a single-round shop reset.

How Do Hot Zones Affect Rewards?

Official material says players can chase the Hot Zone to earn double cash. Whether that risk is worthwhile depends on the objective, nearby teams, and what the squad needs—not only the reward multiplier.

When Should You Spend on Vehicles?

Buy a vehicle when transport, supply movement, armour, or air support can change the objective fight. Captured vendor prices and unlock gates are build-sensitive; use the Vehicles Guide for the evidence currently available.
